Merry Christmas
I came to London, to the winter and snow that still lie in my heart To the isolation, to the repression of all I did not wish to discover To see the reflection of my unwillingness to feel in the covert silent English I was met with the visible integration of all that is below the cool exterior of London The thriving, stirring, passionate voice of every nation infusing the fabric of the city Of every country England has ever tried to conquer Inciting me to my highest expression, my internal and eternal light This Christmas the light and warmth has come to London it is not covered in a blanket of snow The wind is whipping through the grey streets, rain is falling, the full moon brightly shines. There is movement, there is an exchange of love amongst even the most estranged My true nature, as is all our true nature, toward happiness could only be fully realised once I had stood in full acceptance of my shadow, of all that I had denied existed So I breathed it in and as I breathed out my heart resonated love Merry merry Christmas
